Please join us on Tuesday, March 27th, from 6-8pm at COLORS Restaurant, 417 Lafayette, NY, NY as we gather to celebrate and honor Bruce Herman’s legacy to all working people.

Former Executive Director of the Garment Industry Development Corporation, Working For America Institute of the AFL-CIO, and the National Employment Project, former Deputy Commissioner of Labor for New York State, and Board member, friend, and advocate for the Restaurant Opportunities Center (ROC), Bruce committed his life and time to improve the lives of America’s working people

At this special event, we will be inviting everyone who is able to come to share remembrances and thoughts of Bruce, and announcing the launch of a new fund that Bruce’s family is initiating in his honor. Called the Bruce Herman Memorial Fellowship Fund, this new fund will support low-wage restaurant workers around the country in obtaining livable wage positions and starting a college pathway. Whether or not you are able to attend the event, you can make a contribution to the Fund or get more involved. You can also share remembrances on a page dedicated to Bruce, and if you are not able to attend the event, we can be sure to include your remembrances in the memory book we are creating. We will send a follow-up email with the donation and rememberance pages within the next week.
Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts, remembrances, and words in honor of Bruce. We look forward to seeing you on the 27th.
